The Lost City

, Acne

Don't let the breathtaking reflective sunset on the sea fool you. The sea is actually covered with fish bones scattered like confetti with the smell of dead fish welcoming you.
I wore a dress too pretty to an apocalyptic beach town. I love that the sheer lace hems give off an ethereal vibe and that it's lavender, a color I'm always drawn to but lacks serious presence in my closet.

Through the Looking Glass

(  California top, Vintage jacket from Crossroads, Forever 21 hat )

Found what could be used to take the perfect OOTD selfie in the middle of the desert. Such a perfect blogger's trap.

Rosarito, Mexico

This was the outcome of an impromptu road trip to Rosarito, Mexico. We booked the most charming beach house the morning of on Airbnb and drove down South of the border. It was my first time in Rosarito and I was stunned by the beauty and vibrant colors sprawled out everywhere you looked. That's probably what prompted me to throw on my burnt frock and heavily accessorize with hardwear and tattoos. A rule I always abide by is making an outfit your own by accessorizing with unique, statement pieces. I only stayed in Rosarito for 24 hours because of a lack of time but I'm looking forward to go back. Let me know where I should visit next time to shop, eat or explore in Rosarito or nearby towns. I would love to hear recommendations!

Thrifted floral maxi, Jeffrey Campbell Tardy, c/o Vant Jag

I love exploring abandoned places and it's one of the things I look forward to most on road trips. Coming across this strange and alluring building was a fortuitous (photography wise) accident. It probably wasn't the safest choice, especially since I happened to be treading around broken glass with my Tardys. This floral maxi works as a sleeveless kimono jacket when unbuttoned and it's been perfect to wear for this scorching LA heat.
What are some cool/strange places you've explored? I would love to know!

( Heavenly Couture Lace Dress, Jeffrey Campbell Everlane, Child of Wild Necklace )

Playing with fire has never been more fun. So excited to have gotten a hold of these colorful wonders that you should definitely try your hardest not to inhale. They are illegal in California so I stocked up like a hoarder while I was out of town.
Wearing one of my favorite colors, periwinkle and on my collar bones is the perfect amount of clunk and grace from Child of Wild. Perfectly appropriate.

I'm back! I don't know if it's due to the early signs of a summer transition but I'm sort of on a floral streak.
So happy to have come across this dress from For Love and Lemons. I love that the watercolor floral prints aren't overwhelming and my favorite part about the dress is the breezy mesh panel.

Portland + Seattle Photo Diaries

Gum anyone?
Sorry for the delay. My laptop is finally revived from the dead (I think it's time for a new one).
Anyway, my trip to Portland and Seattle was a refreshing change of scenery filled with adorable desserts, temperatures below 50 degrees, running to the official Solestruck store, gorgeous landscapes, and making Portlandia references. To defy the short amount of time left on our trip, we stuffed ourselves hopping from one cute mom and pop eatery to another.
I'll definitely be back but now I know to bring a thicker coat next time!
